Energy Audits -specialising in pumps:
More than just taking instrument readings, we can offer pump knowledge and expertise, along with guidance on how to set more efficient operating parameters. It’s not enough to just hand you flowrate and power usage data. We will interpret it for you, and work with you to set improved parameters, which suit your system, save you energy, and where possible improve pump reliability.
We are not limited to working with centrifugal pumps. We can also help you reduce energy usage with your positive displacement pumps.
Feasibility Studies for Energy Savings
We offer pump and motor feasibility studies if you are considering applying for Government grants to investigate possible energy savings. We will remove the guesswork, and calculate the optimal pump speed to suit your pumping system requirements. Then we tabulate your proposed energy savings, alongside your carbon emissions savings, and your operating costs savings per annum. So you will have a clear picture on how and why to move ahead with any changes.

Pumping with Viscous Fluids:
Road tanker unloading with viscous fluids can often present challenges with prolonged unloading times. However working with viscous fluids is a specialty (eg. Industrial and Automotive oils, Bitumen or Pitch, viscous Polymers, Inks, Molasses, etc). Whether your pipework is jacketed, heat-traced, or non-jacketed, we have plenty of experience in selecting suitable pipe sizes for viscous fluid transfer and loading/unloading. We can even design special modifications to help improve your unloading times.
Troubleshooting of Pump Systems:
Downtime and underperforming pumps can be costly. For improved performance, or to extend maintenance intervals. If you believe you should be receiving higher flowrate or pressure, or that your pumps are under-performing for some reason. Or to extend Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). Through your condition monitoring process, and from our onsite investigation, we can carry out a root cause analysis to recommend improvements.
In addition, we are capable of working with a broad range of centrifugal or multi-stage pumps, submersibles, or vertical column pumps. We are also well versed with gear pumps, vane pumps, screw pumps, progressive cavity pumps, lobe pumps, hose pumps, piston pumps, diaphragm dosing and metering pumps. This includes mechanically sealed variations, Mag-Drive sealless pumps, and gland-packed configurations.
